Innovative Remote Cardiac Monitoring Service Launched in the US by Wellysis and Artella Solutions

Saturday, March 09, 2024

Wellysis, a digital healthcare firm spun off from Samsung, has unveiled its remote cardiac monitoring service in the United States, partnering with Artella Solutions (ARTELLA). Building upon its FDA-cleared S-Patch electrocardiogram monitoring solution, Wellysis introduces the newly FDA-cleared S-Patch ExL device, designed to allow extended testing periods of around 14 days on a single coin battery, which received FDA clearance in early February.

This advancement enables Wellysis to expand its reach in Extended Holter service and Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT) service. Introducing the S-Patch ExL solution to US patients is facilitated through a collaboration with ARTELLA, headquartered in Houston, Texas, offering comprehensive remote cardiac monitoring solutions across 10 states. Wellysis and ARTELLA aim to provide an unmatched end-to-end cardiac monitoring service, commencing in Texas.

The program includes bundling Samsung smartphones and smartwatches, seamlessly integrating with the S-Patch ExL device. Young Juhn, Wellysis CEO, expresses excitement about the collaboration, stating, "We are excited to partner with ARTELLA for our remote cardiac monitoring service in the US, introducing this end-to-end solution using S-Patch to US patients. This collaboration marks the beginning of an exciting journey, with plans to integrate AI algorithms soon." This partnership emphasizes Wellysis' commitment to redefining patient care through innovation. Apart from the launch, Wellysis is actively pursuing FDA clearance for its AI algorithms, further demonstrating its dedication to advancing patient care and fostering innovation.
