IPC Healthcare, Inc., a leading national acute hospitalist and post-acute provider organization, announced that it has acquired Amity Health, LLC, in Wichita, Kansas. The acquisition complements IPC's existing market presence for acute and post-acute services in the Wichita area.

Jeffrey Taylor, president and COO of IPC Healthcare, stated, "Amity's focus on post-acute services will help complement and broaden our capabilities for population health management in the Wichita area, where IPC has had an established presence since 2013. With the Amity acquisition, we will be adding several additional post-acute facilities and clinicians to IPC's footprint in the market. We are pleased to welcome the Amity team to our IPC family."
This acquisition is expected to add more than 13,000 encounters on a combined annualized basis.
