Skanska inks $61 mln U.S. hospital expansion contract

Skanska has signed a contract to expand the existing Orange Regional Medical Center healthcare facility in Middletown, New York. The contract is worth USD 61 M, about SEK 510 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the second quarter of 2015.

Skanska will expand the existing hospital facility to include a new 14,000 square-meter, five-story medical office building and a 2,400 square-meter, single-story cancer center at the hospital’s main campus.

Construction is underway and completion is expected in late 2016.
