Virtua’s to build a US$1 Billion Hospital Complex in Westampton

Introduction:

Virtua Health’s to build a US$1 billion hospital complex in Westampton.

Features:

The hospital will replace Virtua’s four-story hospital in Mount Holly.  This would bring economic growth to the area in Burlington County and thousands of new jobs.

Virtua Memorial Hospital, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, will be replaced under Virtua Health’s US$1 billion proposal to build a new nine-story hospital in Westampton.

All patients would have private rooms and  there will be 339 beds when the hospital is completed. The hospital would be completed by 2022.
It would have upgraded infrastructure and Virtua has acquired the farm in 2015 for US$10 million.

The renderings depict the nine-story hospital, surgical and rehabilitation centers, a hospice and assisted living complex, offices and other buildings on the former 110-acre Hogan Farm, off Routes 541 and 630.

Together, the structures would have about two million square feet of space. About 3,400 employees would work there.
