Gaumard(R) Scientific Company today provided an update on installations of the Victoria(TM) birthing simulator at health care and educational facilities across the U.S.  The latest installation sites include:

  • •    Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Medford, Ore
  • •   University of North Dakota College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines, Clinical Resource and Simulation Center, Grand Forks, ND
  • •    Washington Health System School of Nursing, Washington, Pa.

John Eggert, Gaumard's executive vice president, said: "Among the many new customers we have gained since the launch of Victoria, we are pleased to see a number of repeat customers. Overwhelmingly, repeat Gaumard customers have cited the innovation of Victoria and support and training they've received with past Gaumard simulators as major factors in choosing Victoria to train their students and medical staff."

A member of the NOELLE® family of maternal and neonatal care simulators, Victoria has a patented, precision life-like delivery and birthing mechanism that births a life-like, full-term baby with sophisticated monitoring capabilities. Gaumard's complete Victoria system includes comprehensive clinical scenarios, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage. With articulating endoskeletons and silky smooth elastomeric skin, Victoria is the most realistic, fully tetherless and wireless maternal/fetal simulator for use in actual point of care training.
