AtlantiCare Invests US$75 million to Expand Mainland Campus

Introduction:

AtlantiCare with an investment of US$75 million plans for the expansion of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Mainland Campus in New Jersey.

Features:

The multi year project construction includes phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3 with the addition of two floors covering approximately 35,000 square feet to the existing campus. Moreover, it also includes 23,000 square feet renovation of the Meadow Pavilion.

The first phase of the project includes construction of two new floors. Phase 2 includes renovation of the current second floor for a new expanded ICU. Phase 3, includes renovation of the second floor of the (existing ICU) to turn into a dedicated 12-room Observation Unit.

The project features addition of 50 private medical/surgical rooms among which 12 rooms consisting of bedside dialysis capability, a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) along with 14 private rooms, 12-bed observation unit, increased elevator capacity and an improved negative pressure capacity.

The new project is currently in design phase and the construction is expected to start in the first half of 2022 and get completed in 2024.
